Land Rover’s Ranger Rover Evoque is the latest vehicle to join the storied automaker, but certainly stands out from the rest of the lineup due to its decidedly more road-minded design than the rest of the models.
The Evoque is offered in either front or all-wheel-drive and its off road features are limited – although a version of Terrain Response control is available on all-wheel-drive Evoques. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine and a 2.2-liter turbodiesel in European examples of the Evoque.
Pure models feature brushed aluminum trim and neutral colors, while the Prestige badge brings with it two-tone leather wrapping nearly every surface and mixed wood and aluminum trim. Dynamic adds a sport-oriented interior and the availability of a contrasting-color roof and rear spoiler.

The Evoque is set to push some of Land Rover’s models in a new, more urban direction, although the company says it will continue producing off road-oriented models. The automaker defends the street-ready Evoque model as a response to stricter emissions standards.
